Common Areas for Recreation
Bring your family and enjoy the firepits, picnic tables, grills, and ponds located in scenic areas throughout the development. Common spaces are identified with Deerwood signage. Please note there are posted rules pertaining to use of these common areas. These rules are enforced if necessary by penalties, as allowed by the Bylaws VIII.1.a or the county sheriff's office.
Ponds
There are four ponds located in common areas for all owners to enjoy: 1. On Old Barn Rd.2. On Rock Creek Rd., near the DWP entrance at Hwy. 933. Near the end of Woodlands Drive4. Off Deer Crossing Rd., near the main entrance to DWP ("Hidden Pond")
Feel free to fish, but no swimming, canoes, kayaks, or floating devices are allowed. All other ponds are on private property and the HOA has no responsibilities for them. However, homeowners with private ponds must maintain them to HOA standards. See "Rules" for private pond standards.

Clubhouse
The clubhouse is available for owners and their guests from April - December. It offers an open area for families to gather for a special event, play ping pong or pool, or use exercise equipment. Wifi is available on premises. There is no charge to use the clubhouse, but users must clean the building after use. If you are interested in reserving the clubhouse for a special event, please contact the Board Secretary.
