The Role of Our HOA
The DWP Homeowners Association is the cornerstone of our residential community.
The association's responsibilities include overseeing road maintenance (except private roads and driveways), common areas, trash dumpsters, electricity, and funds permitting upgrades for improvements to the community.
Mandatory membership when purchasing at Deerwood Park comes with construction and maintenance obligations, financial responsibilities, and a commitment to abide by restrictions/bylaws and other rules and regulations of the association. This necessitates individual conformity for the good of the whole community.

HOA Board Members
The HOA Board is charged with bringing continuity and order to the DWP development, and preserving its architectural integrity. The board strives to promote the concept of a true community and protect property values for all owners.
To be successful, the HOA Board must uniformly and fairly govern the community, and it should have a reasonable level of participation by each of the association's members over time.
Members of the Board are elected for two-year terms. Board positions BM-1 and BM-2 are elected each odd year and BM-3, BM-4, BM-5 are elected each even year. If a vacancy should occur during a Board member's elected term, the remaining Board members can choose to fill that position to term or leave it vacant, per the Bylaws.
